BLACK ROUGH NECK QUESTIONS!

vulcan Aug 18, 2004 04:53 PM

Does anyone breed Black Rough Necks? Will they be at the NARBC show in Anaheim, CA. this September? What would be a good price for a captive bred BRN at the show? What is the best substrate for BRNs because I've read several websites that say different things: some say coconut bark, others say sand, etc.
Also, are there any good books on captive care of monitors, because some of the posts on this forum say that Daniel Bennett's book gives misinformation about BRNs and his book was reported to be very good. Thanks for the input.

There are few true cb's yet. That is going to change soon...A couple of us have just recieved our first clutches here in Florida, just have to hatch them...

That is great news. I really think they are a wonderful monitor and deserve much attention.
