Hi Michael

We have some heavy rain lately and I had a good harvest of redback salamander. When there is rain , there is salamander. I always know where to find them little critters after rain. Eventually I will convert my northern ringnecks to worm eater instead of salamander eater, but I want to wait until they get little bit more mature.

I have found it harder to convert mature ringnecks to worms, they just have a thing for salamanders. Got any salamanders for me? You can email me ya know.

Hi Michael,

Do you know why I want to convert my ringnecks to worm eater, It's because I got a lot of mosquito bites everytime I went for salamander hunting, I just don't know when I will get the West Nile disease from these pest LOL.

I want to help you but I can't, I will risk go to jail for sending you the reptile (salamanders or snakes) South of the border and also I am not a licensed pet trader. I don't think either my government or your government will allow me to ship reptiles across the border without the necessary trade license. I almost end up buying a regal ringneck snake from the Glades Herps Inc in June, I thought it's a good deal to have a regal for $35.00 but they told me the shipping will cost me $1,000.00 because of the complication of clearing customs through the border. I told them it's cheaper for me to buy air ticket and take a vocation to Florida and collect the snake there myself. It's sad.
