Ruppel stonewashed pastel 04...

joshm Aug 18, 2004 10:48 PM

Hello. Just wanted to show off my new pastel. This animal came straight from Stan and is amazing I think. Far lighter in color overall compared to typical pastel and kind of fuzzy in it's pattern. Super like light head as well. Would like to here your thoughts on it! Thanks..

I think it looks good...I like the way the pattern goes into the head. Looks almost like a ghost pastel. Good luck with that one.

Very nice pastel.
He will most likeley brown out as he matures as he has little pure yellow, but only time will tell.

Congrats on the beauty. In my opinion, these are the nicest pastels out there. I Cannot wait to produce a super and a bumblebee from my stonewash.

Here is a Stonewash I picked up from Stan. Not much more to add.

If I had to wager a guess I would say that The stonewash has a genetic granite trait mixed in, as all the photos I have seen of them seem to have the spotting in the patterns like that of a granite.
