I have not done this but I have read from multiple sources that it is a great boost of calcium for them. I believe that when you do feed egg shells you need to crush them up so that they are fairly small. Good luck to you.

when we feed them pidgeon eggs they just swallow them whole. I was just concerned with chicken eggs that it might be a bit much with all the shells.

I have always fed cooked eggs with the shells crushed. Never had any problems.

For a treat try soft boiled eggs, shell and all. Melt a slice of cheese and mix with the egg. Mix raw or canned fruit with the egg. If there is something I want Rufus to try I'll mix a little with egg and he goes right for it.

my wife makes them scrambled eggs but if she puts anything in while it's cooking, they won't eat it. They will eat it if it is added after the cooking. Go figure????
