For those who use Vermiculite in a humid hide...

1. How often do you change the vermiculite in your humid hides?

2. How often do you need to moisten with a spray bottle?

Thanks, Briggzer

Another question concerning hides; are they best placed on the warm or cool side of the cage? (or maybe in the middle?)

Meaning humid hides.

i place my humid hides at the warm end, i found it to be a little bit more attracting for my leos, my females wont step in the hide if its cold, they like it warm, plus it helps the watter evaporate and back into the vermiculite (the leos get mo moisture in my opinion). I change the vermiculite or paper towels about once or twice every two weeks, i dont have any problems of deficating in the hides so they are kept clean.
