Ultratherm heat pad between plywood and linoleum?

dmac Aug 19, 2004 04:06 PM

I know you're not supposed to trap heat, but if the heat can pass through the linoleum it's not trapped, right?

heat from above with either a red heat source on a rheostat to adjust temps. If your room stays warm enough I would use an incandescent(white)bulb of appropriate size. Place it on a timer. Use Reeves(?) stacks to set up basking platform. These are thin plywood or paneling on 2x2's. Take a jigsaw and saw a hole 5 or 6 inches round in the middle and place a light source over the hole. Stack several of these and your snake can seek out the warmth it needs.
