Here's my new BD cage

This one took me a couple months to complete. It's 96"L X 27"w X 36"t. I did something a little different and used tile grout over plaster instead of polystyrene. I coated the grout with a 50/50 mixture of white glue and water, which I sprayed on with a misting bottle. I borrowed this idea from the model railroading hobby, and I like this method better, it's actually stronger, quicker, cheaper, less odor, and easier to apply, and doesn't have a shine so looks more realistic. I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. Thanks for looking.

The enclosure looks great. I have a few questions.

What approximately did it cost to build? and how many man hours total did you put into it?

omg....dude...that kicks ass!!!! I am going to do that!!!! So by putting the elmers/water mixture over the grout, that will seal it from the snakes defecating all in it or what? I'm planning on building three cages stacked up on top of each other....I don't know if i'm going to do the rocks but definately those ledges out of the tile grout. I'm presuming you used a high density foam board and grouted over that...how did you attach the board to the walls? OR did you use like plywood then put some fiberglass cloth to make the transistion between the back and side piece where you put the thermometer with some bondo? I seriously want to do this to my cage!!!!
