Hi Shawn,
i just happened to cruise by this forum, first time in a long time and i saw this post. yup im still out there. havent really had good computer access tho. i have been doing herp inventory work for the national parks. i have been in big bend national park for the past few months, and just the other day have moved up to to guadalupe mts national park to do herp inventories. on the drive up i shuttled a nice little female luteola off the road, just north of van horn, texas. i am saddened to say i havent been able to visit my old luteola observing spot, aka luteland, since last fall. i hope to be able to be out there once or twice this fall, but it is hard with being so far away from it. i just got into grad school in albuquerque, and hope to do something involving luteola, maybe reproductive ecology, for my dissertation.
be well, ian
p.s. Bill Tracy, hope everything is well with the family and herd. drop me a line sometime!
