snow leopards

what do baby snows look like? do any of you have pics of one? a local pet shop has a baby leo that is black and white for $30. i was wondering what it might be. sorry i don't have a pic u don't have a cam.

I would go search the Leo classifieds on kingsnake until you find a photo that looks like the one you saw. Then you'll know for sure.

As far as I know, it's never recommended to buy a baby leo who looks to be a snow. Especially if you want high quality, and if you want to know for sure what it is!

As we all know, their patterns change as they grow older. Often, when you have a baby who is black and white, as it grows it attains more and more yellow - and it becomes either a low-grade snow or a normal leo.

We had a baby leo hatch out once who was black and white. She was premature, so her color hadn't all come in yet! She was a normal, through and through.

From what I understand, you can't really tell what quality a snow will be - if at all - until it's grown. SO, I wouldn't recommend buying that baby if you're wanting a snow. Find a breeder who has them - as adults - and buy one from them.

If you really like the gecko, then buy it..for $30 you can't go wrong either way..
