I hath returned!!!! Amanda's Adventure to New England

TenorGoddess Aug 19, 2004 11:09 PM

Hey Everyone!

Howdy from MA! We finally made it, the critters are all fine (no losses, it was a super nice, super easy trip that lasted only 3 days total). I couldn't have asked for better weather. Through the entire trip, the weather was kept wonderful so I didn't have to worry with heat packs or the ice packs I kept with us.

Actually, the animals adjusted far quicker to this dramatic change in scenery, climate, pressure, etc. than they did when I moved only 15 min from my parents house. Go figure.

It feels great up here, I'm loving the weather and my new job and I love seeing how happy my animals are. I'll be back in action posting new pics for everyone soon!

My wee burm is growing so fast! ;D

Hugs!!!

I'm glad all went well with your move - and welcome to Massachusetts!

It's good to hear that all your animals have ajusted well, and it sounds like you have too. Just one thing to keep in mind - New England winter. I hope you have a nice, warm place for all your pets. Winter tends to show up quite suddenly here.

Thanks!

Yup I have everyone on the third floor of our duplex. It's always toasty up there (sweaty actually) and I with soon have all my cages done (I'm starting to build again and they'll all be hooked up nicely). I'll have pictures of the room once it's totally finished. Everyone will be living the high life in that room soon. hehe :D

Hugs!

Welcome back Amanda. Glad to hear that the trip went well. Todd

Yup, trip went wonderfully, animals didn't really stress over it and they've all settled in perfectly. ;D My burm is exploring our computer room right now (she's probably wondering what hard wood flooring is as opposed to her usual soft carpet). LOL!

Will have pictures soon. Things are ultra crazy at work and between that and wanting to start fast and heavy on my cage building and setups before winter sets in, I'm kept pretty busy.

Biggest hugs!

Amanda Rose
