Feeding adult RES

Turt-Liz-Wiz Aug 20, 2004 11:34 AM

I was wondering. Do u feed adult RES strictly on veggies (like some herbivorous lizards like iguanas) or do you feed them some protein as well (feeder fish, shrimp, etc) besides the veggies. Can anybody tell me a good percentage of veggies and protein for adults?

A small amount of protein once or twuce a week or so wouldn't hurt. Veggies everyday, as much as they want should be offered. Mine get a few feeder fish or turtle pellets occasionally, or a few crickets or whatever I have leftover from feeding my other reptiles.
