Humid hide

Demandred Aug 20, 2004 12:23 PM

Hi,

There is nowhere in my area that I can purchase a humid hide. I was curious as to what alternatives there are. I read in a book that I could use wet paper towels or moss inside of the hide, but I was wonder if it should only be on the ground or all over in the hide. Any help would be appreciated.

G.

Do you have any opaque tupperware? or some of that Gladware?

Simply fill that with moss or vermiculite, cut a whole in the top or the side and there you go

I use bed-a-beast and a ziplock container.

just make sure the moss is "decontaminated" dont use anything from outside or from a garden store, it could contain parasites and other nasty things! bed-a-best works well, or just go with damp paper towels
