OK let see all those "BIG" boas everyone. Here are pics of my BCI.

McCarthyBoas Aug 20, 2004 02:06 PM

Ok lets see who has the biggest boa here. Winner gets bragging right.
Post pictures and info on "your big boa." No big fishing stories ok. LOL
I know I would love to see some of those 12 to 14 footers.

Well here is my biggest female BCI I have. She is 9' - 6 3/4" long and 60 lbs even.

Take care,
Tom

She's just under 9' and was well behaved around my students, most of whom stayed away from her.

Sondra, I adopted her about 2 months ago. 8ft, 3 inches. She was a little skinny in the photo (which Arrowhead Reptile Rescue took), but is fattening up some now.

I have 4 females that are pushing ten ft or more. These second two females where CBB by Gary Sipperly in the mid 90's, and the first is a 97 Belknap.

First....

This is a female Belknap, 9-10ft (Those are 18" tiles for reference). Yes, adults can have color too!

Next..

This female is 10ft, due Aug 31. (Come on Tom, the bill goes SIDEWAYS heheheh).

And...

This Female is 11-12ft and cooking also.

...that belknap female is my favorite snake on this forum (or any forum for that matter). Let me know when she pops out a litter...I want to be on that list!

cheers,
gabriel

Not 60lbs, but she tips the scales at 48lbs and 8.5ft in length.

Another pic of her stretched out in front of a 6x3 Vision.
