I caught this on the Bob Clark forum. (great site) and it stated that originally the vote was about 80% FOR an all out BAN on reptiles in whatever province this is about. But by the time I voted a few minutes ago (Against the ban!) it was over 50% AGAINST the ban,. so the tables are turning. YAY! So please do your part to go vote on this and let's get this to a more comfortable win of more like 80% or 90% AGAINST. Okay? Thanks in advance. If I posted the link incorrectly go to Bob Clark's forum and you will find this in the Main room towards the top.

If some of you could do me a favor and post this in other reptile forums here in Kingsnake I would appreciate it. I can't multipost it since that would be considered spamming or business posts or something like that in TOS. Thank you all. Please keep us posted on the vote results as you see it changing more in "our" favor. Remember, stuff like this ALWAYS spills over to other areas and other countries. Let's put a stop to it at its origin. Thank you all again.

This is a very unfortunate situation. Especially because the biggest promoter of the ban is a hypocrite. The Reptile Rainforest Refuge is the local "refuge" for abandoned animals. The place is disgusting, unhealthy animals squeezed into tight quarters..it doesnt make any sense that someone who calls themself a "radical animal activist" would allow for this build up of reptiles. Most centers that take in reptiles have adoption programs for well educated and suitable owners, these animals end up in the right hands. But due to the self righteousness of the Schramms, these animals continue to suffer in sub-standard conditions. I live in one of the Cities trying to put a ban on retiles and I will stand against the Schramms and their attempts to take away what I love, Especially my "3000 dollar albino burm".Ha.
