sumo Aug 20, 2004 07:54 PM

Hello right now i have two 5 inch red eared sliders in a 20 gallon long tank. I was wondering when I should me them into a 55 gallon tank set up. Please tell me how long they should be before I go out and purchase the 55 gallon tank set up.

Thank You

They should be in a 100 gallon tank already. The rule of thumb is ten gallons of water per inch of turtle, so your guys are already way overcrowded.
