Goblet african bullfrog, looking more MATURE :0)

Eve Aug 20, 2004 08:15 PM

Well he has NO more baby bright green stripes on his sides,
just getting alot of yellowy orange colors underneath.

Hes getting very BIG, I hold him with 2 hands when I have to pick him up and move him.

I remember in January when I got him, he could have sat on a quarter, hehehehhhe now he can almost fill a desert saucer.

Fun guy to watch, my goodness he SNAPS his mouth at anything that moves !

First how is you little guy doing? I have been busy so if you have posted him, I must have missed him.

Also wanted to ask, at what age do these guys call ? I have heard reg ole bullfrogs, make that BIG sound, hehehehe near creeks, and things growing up.

I'm wondering if and when I may hear Goblet? Hes about 8-9 months old now!

Thanks,

Mine started calling when he hit about 6 inches...so at around a year or so of age. My little guy is doing well. He ate this huge grasshopper I caught at my friend's ranch the other day. He is really getting a lot less shy and more like a real pyxie. He even bit me the other day! (and its about time!). Good luck and keep posting some pics of him!
