Have you tried the classifieds (on kingsnake.com) yet? I just picked up a captive born juvenile blackthroat (about 18" long) locally from an ad in the classifieds. (Less than $100)
Not quite as tame as my savannah (who is also his size) but he'll get there with enough handling and attention.

yeah i have been looking in the classifieds, im really picky, especially since most of them have just got off the plane from africa, also im looking for similar sized animals to socialize them with each other, im sure i'll find some in time
thanks anyway

Most who sell imported monitors sell them as CB, they do this because the classifieds have imports for $40, so if they call it CB they can sell it quick at $100. CBB albigs sell for around $300 each sometimes more. There is only one who breeds them with any consistancy thats FR with banded WTs, Dan Turner has, Steve B has (Canada), ProExotics, Rob Faust, Pete Zulpich, and a few others in well over 10 years time. Dont believe the CB hype.

Yeah you never really can know for certain when a pet store says they're reptiles are all captive born. (Most of them know if they say wild caught you probably won't buy them.)
The baby savannah I got the other day at a reptile shop, the employees said they were all captive born. ($29.99 price tag)
At least with the babies (even if they are wild caught) it gives you more of a chance to tame them so by the time they become adults they're used to you and more friendly, unlike the large wild caughts that (IMO) don't stand much of a chance at all at being tamed.

By the way every pet store I've been locally that offers reptiles, not a single one has told me when I asked, that any of their reptiles were wild caught.

Don't mean to intrude but a good way to tell if an animal is truly captive bred is to have its stool tested for parisites native of its homeland. Captive bred animals should be free of all native internal parisites.

All show negative, and number 6 may show positive. Thats an indicator but not definite.
