LLL Reptile

five-o Aug 21, 2004 06:47 AM

I recently purchased a baby beardie from LLL Reptile and had it shipped due to not being able to find any locally except Petsmart. Anyway, I just wanted to let everyone know how healthy was when it arrived. It ate a few hours after it warmed up, and is very active. It eats tons of crix and is starting to eat greens etc. that I grind up fine in my food processor. I was very impressed with what I got, and his/her colors are pretty as well. Hopefully I'll have a picture soon. I named it Roosevelt, or as my 2 yr old boy says it, it sounds like "Rose-A-Bell"

Yes they are a good company, and from what I know they buy from reputable breeders, too. I get all my crickets from them and never have a problem.

Have fun with your new beardie!

Kephy...

When u buy crix from LLLReptile is there like a $2 box fee or something like that? otherwise $16.99 (including shipping) is really good for 1000 crix...

I buy my crix from top hat crickets in Kalamazoo, MI which is about 1 hour away. It's more expensive but they only have to ship a short distance. Does anyone buy them from LLL who lives a long way away?

I have ordered crix from LLL several times now. I have been VERY happy with them. They are "true to size" and packed well. They arrive healthy and active... all the way from California!
