It's ok. I mean, some people show off pictures of their human kids, but I would much rather see Carrick.
id rather see peoples dragons too =) i was just going through some of my folders here.. sorting stuff out.. so thought i might as well post some more pics.. boredom has me.. ive finished all my work today, just cooking din din and have nothing else going on.. =P
He looks huge from the pics! What are you feeding him??
he gets his salad every day which mainly is collard greens since thats his favorite, but also gets in with that swiss chard, endive, escarole and mustard greens or kale sometimes, i grow most of it in my garden. He also loves shredded carrot every once in awhile and rasperries. He gets a variety of feeders; mainly silkworms, then here and there some butterworms and superworms, plus the odd wax worm, but i only buy those once every couple months. He only gets his buggies mondays, wednesdays, fridays and sundays, but on his days he doesnt get them he has repcal pellets which he will nibble on. I think that is about it. i had to do away with crickets, i live on the coast and its just too humid, they all just die off, no matter how much ventilation i give them they get stinky and die...ah well... silkies are good for him anyhow. He is just about 500 grams now, weighed him today at 490 =) he does seem a bit chubby but he does have GG lines so they do tend to look a bit "thicker"
i plan on getting another baby dragon so ill have to bring back the crickets but plan on buying them in much smaller quantities just more often.

Do you raise the silkworms yourself? If so is it challenging? I've read that it can be a real pain but I would love to feed them to my dragon as they seem like the best feeder.
but once you get the hang of it, its not so bad, you just have to watch out for humidity, too much humidity will kill them for certian. And if you can keep them on mulberry leaves rather then the chow, its a whole lot better, less mess, less moisture, just has worked better for me....
Carrick is such a beauty!
I read that you have plans to get one more dragon - please keep us updated!

how are all of your dragons doing?? you must be busy these days, dont see ya around too often =)
Wow, Carrick sure changed. He was a very nice normal coloured baby with great patterns then he turned orangy red! You sure he hasn't been out in the sun too long and got a sunburn? LOL
Great pictures. He certianly looks like a very healthy and happy dragon.
