Pied x Lucy compare them

morphkingreptile Aug 21, 2004 05:47 PM

We thought you folks would like to see how this new cross from the Lesser Platy to the Mojave, compares to the white on a Piebald.
This was done with a Nikon just a snapshot with flash no adjustment at all.

Enjoy

It seems like the leucies have a more beaded scale appearance in some of the photos I have seen. It looks a bit like it in your picture as well. Do they have a more beaded scalation?

Alot of leucistic baby snakes look pinkish as hatchlings, only to turn a solid white as adults. I have noticed with RDR's lucy Balls, that they seem as white as white can be though, and RDR's also seem, from photos, to have normal smooth Bp scales.

I have noticed this in some (not all) of my leucistic spitting cobras (Naja sputatrix) also.
