On 26 July, turtle 96 asked about unusual markings on his tortoise, asking if they could possibly be worms under the shell. I recently saw a writeup of just such a case. The "worms" were, in fact, maggots (unknown species) between the shell and the bones of the carapace, and could be seen through the shell.

Did this same write-up also mention the dangling steel hook hanging from the teenager's car door & that the call is coming from INSIDE the house?
