this is your quote"i doubt very much that what i see in my enclosures is grounds on which to conclude much about what they do in the wild" maybe your better then you think you are...just maybe you have or will stumble on something significant...something to offer that will help the folks field studies and inturn help wild monitors in their changing habitats..so don't be so hard on yourself for keeping monitors in a box...my friends that raise wolves and falcons have been instrumental in providing the future survival of these species..the falcon thing most here are too young to remember with the ddt and all...band in the early seventies...so when people take the time to try and explain whats happening in their cages i listen...as i have read your posts for 2 and a half years.........good luck with all your animals....billy
