Hey, did any of you go on the classifieds today? If so (on the turtle one) did you see that white turtle with those blue eyes on there??? I went back to try to maybe buy it, and it's gone!!!! I really, really wanted it, what should I do?
I'm really upset, does anyone know of anyone else who sells them??? And what about the pastel yellow bellies??? Does anyone sell those???? Thanks, please respond. I need a reply!!!!! = (

If it was really a solid white turtle it probably cost as much as a car. If you can afford that, just put up an ad saying 'will pay thousands and thousands of dollars for a white turtle' and I'm sure you'll find one.

I saw the ad of the slider you are mentioning and it is a beauty. I believe I saw the same patternless albino res in Daytona with a price tag of $10,000. A bit high if you ask me but it was a gorgeous specimen. It was lighter than a normal albino and had no pattern on the fleshy areas of the body. It also had dark eyes not like the typical albinos seen in the trade or at least certainly not like mine. A normal Albino red eared hatchling will set you back about $150-$250, a juvenile $250-$450, and adults up to and over $1,000 easy. Attached is a pic of one of my normal albino RES.

I have bought turtles from the guy who was selling it. I called him and he said he wanted 8k for it. It was wild caught in the state of Texas. He said that it has red eyes and that they looked see through. That most likely some people from Japan were going to purchase it. I was also told that people from Japan buy a alot of crazy looking turtles. I really didn't think it was going to be that expensive when I called.
