This is an adult Great Plains Rat Snake from Jones Co. Texas. In the photo, the saddles look brown, but in life they have a greenish hew.

Caspar, also has that greenish tint. I got him from BHB last year at MARS (Mid Atlantic Reptile Show). He is a doll baby. He is growing like a weed, though. It is definitely time to upgrade his cage. It is amazing how he is much thicker than my corns that are this age, although his length is about the same.

Those are both very nice looking snakes. My P. g. emoryi are growing quickly too, but I don't have any upgraded pictures yet this summer.
