Homemade snake hook #2 (Pic)

It's getting better, remember the first one I posted made out of a piece of dowel rod and a kind of square hook that you would hang a bicycle or something from? It's somewhere down below on this page Titled Homemade Snake Hook (pics).

This one still needs a few additional bends but I got tired of working on it in my apt., most of my tools are in storage right now so bending it by hand was quite a workout.

This one should work better and cost a total of $3.24 at Home Depot

Here's something that I put together...

What'd you have to go and show me that masterpiece? Now I'm not satisfied with mine anymore...

Back to the drawing board.

Lol, thanks. Mine is not strong enough for field herpin' though. It's made of graphite and aluminum. Light enough for use with colubrids and small boids but the aluminum bends too easily to flip logs with. I'm trying to get my hands on some titanium for the ultimate field hook ;O)

Go to the hardware isle in home depot. They have 1/4" stock that is easy to work with and costs like $2 bucks.

Have fun, I know I am!
