Did you have the hemangioma removed? How is the BP doing?

We are waiting a few weeks until we remove it. The snakes seems to be doing fine, and the vet said it should do fine even with the Hemangioma on it. As soon as it has shed and eaten, he said to call and schedule an appointment for the removal. He also said that it is genetic. Does anyone know if this is true? I know the snake will probably have a scar and not one to sell, so I will be keeping it. It will be nice to keep one just for a pet and with no intentions of breeding. I will post pics once it is removed, and hopefully of the process of removal. Any ideas on the subject are greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Jason

...there is no evidence that hemangiomas are genetic in snakes, much less BP's. But they sure are U-G-L-Y!! Scott J. Michaels DVM
