I am not a huge BCI fan but this is one of the nicest Col. I could find. She just glows amber and is super clean. Her father was the offspring of Jeff's original Monstertail and her mother was a Col. that rivals the monstertail.

This monster male has a different but good looking bronze & gold even though he is close to 10 years old.

Yellow/Gold

Came in as a baby last year from Ecuador. Monster grower as all deep rainforest Peruvians should be. I believe they are the largest subspecies.

I think others from Ecudaor last year have these eyelashes.

Not real yellow or anything yet but just shed and love the tail on this 03 male.

or maybe it's just the reverse stripe that make the look alike. mine is a 02
Awesome looking animals, but a question for you...
At what temps do you keep your animals? How often do you feed? And how large are the meals in relation to the snake's girth?
I ask because your animals show phenomenal growth rates and I didn't know if you were doing something different than I. Also, how often are you treating (or premptively treating) for parasites?
Thanks!

I don't have a fixed feed schedule. It varies. I have kept snakes for years and never treated for parasites except for the four farm breds I have. I treated them with a low dose of Flagyl & Panacur a couples times when I got them (one definitely need it)and they were good to go. Because of my strict hygiene, I never give my snakes a chance to ingest any fecal matter so parasites with a direct life cycle, never accumulate. I do not have heat other than room controlled and a few large cages with heat pads. I need to improve this some day as the snakes can not thermo regulate. The room temps vary by season and by day and night so they seem to do well anyway. The idea of being exposed to constant electro-magnetic radiation from the heat pads kind of bothers me but it does not appear to be much of a problem. I just had a live litter of rosy boas without using a heat pad and all the care sheets say it's mandatory.
