New blue bar ambilobe photos

chameleo19 Aug 22, 2004 11:26 AM

This is the latest set of pictures taken of my male blue bar ambilobe. He is in his relaxed colors here clibing up the curtains. He is 6.5 months old now and this is the same animal that when I posted pictures about 3 months ago got a few responses that he look like an ambanja. Well all I can say is he doesnt look like an ambanja no more and his colors get better every day. http://community.webshots.com/user/chameleo19

Man if you give him enough time in the sun or a nice UVB bulb check www.reptileuv.com I bet those oranges will come out brite when he is 1 year old!

I try to give him as much natural sun as I can but here in new york we have had one of the worst summers yet and there has only been a handful of days suitable to go outside(and I do mean handful, I could count the days on 1 hand). So for now he will have to make due with his reptisun 5.0 and his mvb for uvb. Hopefully next summer will be much nicer or maybe a few more warm days will squeeze in here before snow comes. He gets really nice oranges and yellows when he gets excited either over food or his female but right now his female wants nothing to do with him since she is carrying a clutch of infertiles and only wants to bite his head off. Thx for the compliments and the site I will look into that.
