Cage for Day Gecko?

I'm thinking of picking up some Standings Day Geckos. Can I use an all screen cage for them?

i've heard of geckos getting their toe-pads messed up from all screen cages.. and why? it's not much more to get a glass cage, and there are SSSOOOOO many avantages to glass.....
