I see that jyohe posted that he uses the taller bottom. where can i purchase that?

fish are shipped in styrofoam boxes...as are frozen meats from steak companies and stuff.....or make one.....any bottom that is taller...even add 4 inches to the exsisting one with styrofoam sheets from Home Depot or Lowes or wherever......
.......just get it taller with styrofoam.......
.........I've even seen wodden boxes with syrofoam linings that were made to fit...(I don't like wood thought)....
.......check loal pet shop first for fish box....wash it good....soap and then a little bleach...rinse well....dry well.....wash it again........LOL....fish are dirty......

lllreptile sells extension rings for the hovabator. I use 3 on mine gives me plenty of extra room. 2 would probably work just fine.
