Not a typo--I went to the alleged "collared lizards on the lake dams" sites in Arkansas today, and came up empty-handed. Problem is, the dams aren't the type to have the "rip-rap" where the collareds make their home.
On the other hand, I went out with a friend and flipped/found some northern AR collared hatchlings this afternoon. Very cute and pugnacious. I should have pics up within the next couple of days.
