new baby not eating!

taloha19 Aug 22, 2004 08:50 PM

I got a baby albino leo yesterday and put her in a 5 gallon tank. Temps are right, set up is right, but I tried to offer her 3 wk crickets and she didn't seem interested at all. Is it just because she's too busy exploring her new habitat.

I have two other leos, but I don't think either of them were this young. She is 1 month old. She was wandering all over her new home yesterday and I saw her drink water this morning.

Should I wait a few days to try and feed her? Any ideas on how to get her interested in the crix? TIA

She's just adjusting to her new home, leave her be for a few more days.. try feeding her in a couple days. If she's not interested in a couple days, don't worry about it, just wait another couple days.

Good luck,
Val
