All this mention of 4-5 gallons per toad is starting to worry me. I have two firebelly toads in a 5 gallon tank. The toads seem to love it they spend all there time together in the water and if one hides the other goes to find it. Im pretty they are both males too. And also one of them is diffrent in coloration his belly is more yellow and back is more navy green. I don't handy them alot only juring tank cleening. I have to do that manualy. Should i get6 a bigger tank?

Ok, thanks for that help. But should i get a dividor for my tank? It would have to be permanent. And im kinda short on cash right now.

If you mean a dividor for land/water no. You can slope gravel up to make the land and then let it just cover the tank for the water area. Or you can always buy plexi glass and cut it to size and silicone seal it for a divide, but i'd go with the gravel.

Sweet thanks for all your help. On that and heres what i have dicided to do. I'm gona get a 10 gallon tank maybe 15 if i can afford. than i will put a Half And Half set up with a plexiglass dividor. I will make the water a little deeper than it has to be so i can but in some algea eater if room prevales.I firuge for subtrate i will have pebles and planter soil, maybe moss to keep it extra moiste. At the bottom of the water im gona put some big flat rocks for the fish i might get or this is cool TINY FROGS!. But if i get fish or those cool little frog( i think there called dwarf frogs) I will have to clean the water often to i have to choises. But the water and land up to the brim of the tank to have a filter or get a sypher to suck the water out. I only have to move the littlew frogs to a glass for about 3 minuter and switch the water! I'm hoping this will work out. Any ideas or something you huys want to add?

Thank, I'm really excited about this

Don't put in an algea eater or dwarf frogs. The algea eater and dwarf frog will most likely die due to the toxins released by the firebellies. just don't mix anything and you are better off.

Couldn't i just change the water weekly?
I nkow poeple that have FBTs and frogs in the same tank.

well the people you know don't know that it isn't a good thing to mix then and if they do they don't care about the well being of the animals. the animals life is at risk, especially something toxic like a FBT can kill almost anything in the tank. just be happy with the FBT and if you want more animals then put them in a different tank.
