I currently have a 10 gallon setup for my buddy. Eventually, I'll be moving up to a 30 gallon.
How large should a corn grow before moving into a large (20 Long to 30) vivarium?

How long is the snake right now? The general rule of thumb for corns/rats is the length of the enclosure should be 2/3rd's the length of the snake, and depth 1/2 the length of the snake. However, I have 2 29 gallon tanks that i am keeping my licorice sticks in and they started out in there from the time I got them, which was when they were 18 inches htv. just make sure you have sufficent hiding spots and tehy should be fine.

Little guy (or gal) is about 20 inches right now.
I just moved my corn from a 10 into a 20L about 3 weeks ago. He is around 30-32". I don't know if it was the change or if he still likes his new hide, but I have't seen her since I changed. I don't know if I moved him to early or not. I was thinking about posting a question so I'm glad you did. He was never the most active snake but I honestly have not seen him outside of his hide since I changed him over.
This is a picture of his new spot right after I picked the hide up.

oh when i first got mine it took me 2 weeks before i ever saw him, unless i took the cave out and moved it around. last night i switched tanks because my neonate enjoys climbing more than my licorice stick does so i gave him the biger cage with the climibng stuff and he hasnt come out yet he always is out...give him time. he's not sure of what's going to go on and remember being that size, he thinks everything is trying to eat him.
