Update on Kula, and a question

PAsnake Aug 23, 2004 12:41 PM

First thing first he/she went from live to f/t no problems at all, showed no hesitation with first frozen meal and has had three more since. Kula seems to be doing great on the diet plan Marcel recommended, 2-3 pinks every 4 days until a bag of 100 is used up, i first did 1 after the regurg then two and now up to three, i may try four as three don't leave much of a lump at all only notice it when turning when stretched out you really can't see the lump left by the pinks.

He/she has gained a little weight and has grown a little over an inch in the last 5 weeks. Ready for my first shed his eye just cleared overnight so i think it is 3-5 days from going clear right? today is his next feeding day, should i feed normally, less or not at all until he sheds?

also a new picture taken a few minutes ago.
Outside no flash direct from camera also Kula is in shed

thanks

I offered 4 pinks Kula ate up two right away. After leaving him/her in the feeding tub for fifteen minutes with no interest in the other pinks i returned him to his enclosure. I assume it is a smaller appetite due to being about to shed as usually he eats everything i offer up right away and cruises around the feeding tub looking for more, a lot of sniffing the newspaper where the pinks were laying. While in the feeding tub i misted the tank to be sure the shed goes smoothly.
