To my knowledge this is the first time that Blanchardi has been produced in the states.I know of only one clutch that was hatched in the moscow zoo a few years ago.
Anyways,Heres the first one about to come out,Three eggs in all and they are all hatching.

Now thats a pic from the milk man fo sho!,lol. Anyways, congrats on those, thats an exciting thing there. Do you only have an adult pair...?, or do you have access to others from a different line or do you ahve to keep these babys to raise up and breed back x the parents...?, way to go, I love seeing uncommon snakes being produced in captivity, paves the way to the future for them for other hobbyists.

Finally!! The long awaited Blanchardi!! Congrats Shannon..I can't even imagine your excitement when they first started poking out. They are truly beautiful.I am pretty sure it is the same feeling I am getting about these micropholis...6 already out!!
Next time we get together (in Del Rio) the margaritas are on me!!
