baby anoles fighting

janome Aug 23, 2004 02:28 PM

I posted message on anole forum but looks like more action here.....I have 2 bahaman babies I got from my friend. They are like 6-8 weeks old. Housed in a 10 gallon tank with branches, live plant, reptile carpet, lights. I noticed them being dominate with each other today. One is definately the more dominate one.
Question is should I just seperate them into their own tanks or would a bigger tank, like a 20 tall, be ok for the both of them? I know for sure one is a female but not sure on the other. IF the other is a male I really don't want to breed them anyways since they are litter mates. How big do they have to be to tell for sure if they are male/female?

if you don't want them to breed, then your best bet would be to sepperate them
