i'd like to hear opinions on using both. when housing adults in racks are there any downsides? has anyone noticed any changes in their snakes when housed in racks, compared to cages? when breeding do most breed in the rack or move to a bigger cage? aside from the space issue, i mainly want to know of any downsides to the snakes well being or activity level when housed in racks, compared to cages.

you got alot of snakes...you use racks......
you got 10 or less........you can use anything you like...nice big cages and all........

Compared to the 6 level tub rack i built here...
Which are about the same size as one one BARRS cage i have (2' x 3' x 1').
The cage is just nicer.I get to see the one animal totally undisturbed,unlike the tubs.
I guess i am off to find materials for cages now...
