i just bought a female bp she is very nice well take care of , i bought off a gentleman for $75 canadian good home seem to be more important than money. i guessing she is 2.5 pounds i will get a more accurate weight when i have a chance, any how he has had it since a hatchling it is 2.5 years and was kept in a rack system and not handle to often. What is the best way to go about getting her use to her new home, i only have experience with my 2 hatchlings which are now 4 months. Thanks

Put her in the new enclosure and leave her alone for at least a week. If she hasn't been handled much, she may be a bit defensive. I would give her some space for about 7-10 days and then attempt to handle for about 15 minutes every other day. You'll find out pretty quick if she is into being handled. You may need to get a hook at first if she strikes, but she'll probably settle down after getting her out of the cage. Good luck.
