Temperatures

I'm using a heat lamp to regulate the temperatures in my BP setup and the temps on the ground are 79-83 on the cool side and 86-90 on the warm side, which from what I've read is just about ideal. Although in a couple of elevated points (like on top of a hide box) temperatures reach 100-102 is this a problem?

My heat gradiant is going to differ, since 1 use heat tape and sterilite tubs...but...
I try to keep the cooler ends around 77 to 79 max and the hot side at 90 to 93 max. They are all eating great and shedding great.
These are all setup on thermostats and the room is kept around 75.
If yours is setup in a room that fluctuats in temps, then make sure that those temps are during the warmest times of the day.
That way it never has the possibility to be hotter than you quoted.

Again since i am using tubs, i do not have hides that get hotter on the top such as yours(no lights). However i have read that a "Hot spot"over 95 under 104)isnt a bad thing at all.
But i do not know what the actual limits are for Balls.

What kind of heat tape are you using? Flex or EasyHeat?

Thanks
