Do they look like little rice that move? If so they are tape worms and must be treated by a vet. The cost should not be bad. My vet in Miami, Fl charged me a office visit and the med. which was about $15 (please don't quote me on this). Once treated he started to eat a lot more and gaining weight. Take a stole sample (a fresh one) to the vet to make sure there are no other types of worms)

Take a fresh fecal to the vet so that he can also see if there are anyother types of worms that need to be treated. Good luck
