I found a small 2 1/2" snapper on the side of the bike trail, I picked him up and he felt light(he's lighter than the little quarter sized hatchling I found yesterday), so I brought him home and tomorrow I'm going to try to feed him, he has small trout minnow in the tub with him, should I try feeding worms or are there better bugs I could find for him?
and when I go to release him would it be okay to put him in a completely different body of water or is he already imprinted on the area he came from?

also try fish as you have been and some insects (crikets ect). As far a just getting him to good helf you may just want to keep him a month most I wouldn't keep himj past first week o August that way he has to be in thw wild again before winter.
