My 3 toed box turtle laid another clutch of eggs this evening,it's the 3rd one that I know about. She laid eggs on june 25th,july 26th and today august 23rd.She laid 4 eggs, they bring the total to 9.how many clutches do they usually lay?she has been with me for over a year and hasn't seen a male the whole time I have had her.Is it possible for her to continue laying fertile eggs?I've been removing the eggs and incubating them,I think I will be successful with the last 2 batches, the first batch didn't make it as you know from my previous posts. Thanks

interesting like I told you before my female box laid three clutches all a month apart, similar to yours. Also female box turtles can hold sperm for up to five years maybe longer.
