going on vacation

chamoti4 May 14, 2003 06:34 PM

Hey everyone,

Thanks for the info earlier. I'm going on vacation in a week and I'll be taking my veiled. I know this is not a good idea but there will be no one to take care of him so I have no choice. Knowing he is not completly comfortable in his environment now I hate to take him to a new one. But what is the least stressfull way to transport him. Its a 4 hour car ride, I'm going to take a smaller cage because his is too big to fit in my car. So this in going to be a totally new environment for him.
Thanks for the help
Chris

Most chams will take a nap if they are closed in a dark box. Attach a branch securely in the box, put a damp paper towel in the bottom, and make sure it doesn't get too hot in the car.
