I assume you're talking about climbinb branches or hides for the enclosure. That should be fine, provided you cut them from a live tree and didn't find already dead branches, which are usually full of bugs.

There is really nothing in wood that will hurt a gek. Any bugs will be eaten. I regularly cut branches and right into the cage. If I strip all of the bark off of green wood I let it dry first as the sap may be irritating. Perhaps in the south there are nasties that I know nothing about, but north of the Mason Dixon line...

Oh we have some serious creatures that live down here, and some nasty bugs too...LOL. But I guess that I am just going to have to dry it the way mother nature does it....the SLOOOOWWWWW way. Well - I guess it's better than nothing. Thanks for the post.
