Hi Yasser,

well, actually I kept all the eggs. There were eight, one died shortly after disposal and the rest looked good! Six neonates have hatched until now (five are still in the eggs).
The one already outside is 22g in weight and ~36cm in length. The tonge is dark blue. The dorsal color is somehow brown with glittering golden markings. Looks really wired!
The head scales (see posting above)are a mix out of M. nauta and M. spp. I'll provide more information soon. Anyway, until now they somehow look like carpets in general appearence.
Here some more pictures:

and here is a hatch video (large ~8MB):

Hi folks,

well after almost two weeks after hatch, they have shed and I thought I'd share some new pictures.
The male was M. nauta, the female M. sp. cheynei. 7 animals hatched all looking healthy.
Two of them more look like "pure" Morelia spilota cheynei, the others have larger head scales (see prior posting), huge eys and are more copper colored. These are active, highly aborical and will musk when touched, same like the M. nauta does! And they bite alot

Here you can imagine there is a M. nauta in it:

This is one of those who more look like a JCP:

This is the other one of the "JCP-style":

This is what the "nauta-type" look like. It's hard to get the real color on the pictures. They are brownish-black with the typical carpet rings but in copper to golden color.

Anyway, really beautiful animals!

Cheers,
Wulf
