Do you know what you have? There are quite a few different types of lizards that people refer to as spiny tailed. How big is he / she, and is the tail slightly flattened?

right now he is about 8in. nose to tail, and when I bought him he i was told he was a Central American Dwarf Spiny tail Iguana. The base of his tail is fat
