There are a few torts (one yellowfoot, and a couple of deserts, I think?) and several RES/box turtles waiting for homes at various humane societies on Petfinder (www.petfinder.com--go to "breed list" and click "reptiles," then "turtles"
. I only post this here because I know that most Petfinder searchers are not experienced reptile people--and I also hate to see these animals suffer because no one finds them!
What can I say? I'm a softie...if I had room, I'd take a few...
