How much are hybrids worth?

cactuskent Aug 24, 2004 03:41 AM

Living in Great Britain there isn't really any hybrid exposure, I've yet to see a carpet x chondro offered on an english classified... anyway I was wondering how much approximately the following hybrids go for (or could be expected to go for in your opinion)$

carpet x chondro
ball x blood(borneo)

thanks,
-Adam

The blood ball... I have no idea as breeders are jumping all over these before they hit the public market. They are using them to breed into the amels and other traits.

I heard carpondro's are $1000. each.

hybrids are really not worth much at all, many people think they are a complete waste of genetic material and that we should know more about the animal before mixing it with other animals. a hybridization or cross thatt happens in the wild is no a big deal to the reptile communtiy but cbb hybrids to some are hated as much as venomoids are

tree boas all the fun none of the venom
