I have one female '03, one male '03, and one male who's at least pre-'99. I know I will not be doing any breeding with this female until she ages a few years, but I am debating which male to breed her with anyway. In the pic below, she is the female with the reduced-ish pattern, in the middle. The big one is my pre-'99 male, and the little guy with the partial blackback is in the bottom of the pic (I put them altogether in a laundry basket for the pic.)
Breeders: Do you find that younger males create the most fertile and healthy clutches when mated, or are larger, more experienced breeder males the way to go? The big male I have was definately used as a breeder by people who owned him years ago, so he knows "the business" already.
